Marketocracy
collects information from different parts of our web site.
Some personal information is gathered when you register.
During registration, Marketocracy asks for your name, email
address, and mailing address. The more information you
volunteer, the better we are able to customize your experience.
Once registered, you are no longer anonymous to Marketocracy
- you are given a login ID and password which provide access
to all of Marketocracy's many offerings. In addition to
registration, we may ask you for personal information at
other times, including (but not limited to) when you enter
a contest or promotion sponsored by Marketocracy and/or
our business partners; when you post information in the
Marketocracy forums; and when you report a problem with
our site or services. If you contact Marketocracy we may
keep a record of your correspondence. Marketocracy may
also occasionally ask users to complete surveys that we
use for research purposes. Wherever we collect personal

we show rankings of Marketocracy members and their funds,
we will use your unique member login name as a screen name.
These rankings will also include fund names as they are
titled on the site. Please ensure that all information
included in login names and fund titles is acceptable to
you for public display. Members can change their fund names

provided for on-line application, surveys, promotions,

purposes stated for such activity. Marketocracy members
will logon with their unique login ID and password with
each use, ensuring their security and verifying their identity.
Members are advised to not share their login IDs and passwords
with others. This is our privacy assurance to users of
our website:

will have 24-hour daily access to their accounts and
will have the ability to modify personal information.
- Personal
information will not be shared with other users or organization,
nor sold at any time. We reserve the right to disclose
or report personal information in limited circumstances
where we believe our service has been used in an unlawful

What
are cookies and how does Marketocracy use them? |

customize and enhance personalized services, Marketocracy
uses cookies to store and sometimes track information about
you. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to
your browser from a web server and stored on your computer's
hard drive. All points on Marketocracy where you are prompted
to log-in or that are customizable require that you accept
cookies.
Generally,
we use cookies to:
- Remind
us of who you are and to provide you with access to your
account information (stored on our computers) and to
provide you a better and more personalized service. A
cookie is set when you register or "Sign In" and is modified
when you "Sign Out" of our services.

our audience size. Each browser accessing Marketocracy
is given a unique cookie which is then used to determine
the extent of repeat usage, usage by a registered user
versus by an unregistered user, and to help target advertisements
based on users' interests and behavior.

your progress and number of entries in some of our promotions
and contests. When a Marketocracy-hosted promotion uses
cookies, the information written to the cookie indicates
the user's progress through the promotion, and may be
used to track entries, submissions, and status in prize
drawings.
- Measure
certain traffic patterns and which areas of Marketocracy's
website you have visited, as well as your visiting patterns
in aggregate. We use this research to compare our users'
habits so that we can make each new experience on Marketocracy
a better one. We may use this information to better personalize
content or promotions that you and other users will see
on our site.

new functionality or offers. Advertising networks that
serve ads to Marketocracy may also use their own cookies.
